New THX sequence

Personally, I think this is the wisest change George has made in a long time. I can't wait to see it in the theaters!

Ladies and Gentlemen:
Excerpts from Rudy Guiliani's Freedom Is About Authority.

Including such great quotes as:
"You have free speech so I can be heard." and
"Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do."

Webcomics Post-tastic!!!

Firstly, The Hourly Comic. John Campbell, of Pictures for Sad Children, is currently doing a comic/hour for at least a month. Look, and know.
Nextly, I'm sure we're all familiar with Dinosaur Comics. well, our mutual friend, Ryan North also did this amazing guest comic describing how he met John Campbell. Freaking great.
Note: The link for Pictures for Sad Children is a bit misleading since John Campbell didn't actually draw that one, but rather it was drawn by A Softer World's Joey Comeau. Still it is hilarious... here's one by Campbell.

From the Times,

Mr Johnson said: “The core of the problem is simple — we eat too much and we do too little exercise. The solution is more complex.”

Mr Balls promised more sport and exercise in and out of school and more play and sports facilities.

Is he from New Zealand or Australia?

A pretty good chart of major accepted English accents (Queen's, Ohio, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa). Oh, Wikipedia.

Harry Potter Alert!!! The Most Important News In Days!!

HP 7 to be split into two different movies!! Finally they got it right! We don't care if the films are 25 hours long. In fact that would be preferable.

Fans.

Give us lots and lots

The Media

Just another reason to think that they are the biggest freaking... I can't even think of an insult that is adequately insulting.

I think my favorite part about webcomics...

Is how fans like to make them real.
2 fine examples:
xkcd and the chess board on the rollercoaster.
and more recently,
Dinosaur Comics and "Smells Like Layla"
